Hello there, how are you all? I hope all of you are in perfect condition. The topic of our discussion today is titled "Mind body healing techniques: The power of food theraphy". The quote "You Are What You Eat" can be accepted to certain extent, this is because we are consuming food all the time and surely l think this has big effect on us. Many diseases can be cured by a change to a healthy diet. Diseases like headaches, arthritis, asthma, back pain, rheumatism, food poisoning, indigestion, bladder problems, constipation, fatigue, insomnia and colds, just to name a few which can cause unnecessary sufferings, can be prevented if one eat`s with care.

Disease thrives in an acidic environment, so the more acidic you are the more susceptible you are to disease. Some of the symptoms of acidosis include lack of energy, constipation, digestive problems, gout, joint pain, chronic skin rashes, allergies, high blood pressure, reduced immune functions, and weight gain.You can also alkalinize your body by making sure all the water you drink is not only clean, but high in pH and negative ORP, your water pH should be from 8-10 & water ORP(antioxidant level) should be at least -50mV. Use water ionizer,the negative charge of ionized alkaline water will attract the positive ions of acids and neutralize them within the body. *1) Milk, butter and cheese are acidic.
*2) Grains such as rice and barley are acidic.
*3) Beverages such coffee, tea, and soft drinks are very acidic.

*5) Simple carbohydrates such as potatoes, pasta, and bread contain large amounts of acids.

Raw foodists are usually vegetarian`s, meaning they do not eat animal-based products like dairy or meat. Only raw plant foods are generally eaten, including vegetables and fruits, plus soaked and sprouted grains, nuts and seeds. A small group raw foodists, part of the Natural Hygiene Movement, include raw, organic animal products.

Take a lot of fresh and organic based foods & alkaline water, avoid processed foods & alcoholic drinks. This can give steady supply of vitamins, minerals, enzyms & antioxidants.
